Presenting the 2020 cherry tree model! With its side & back made out of -Shuri Sakura- wood, a unique Cherry tree that comes from Tokyo University’s Agricultural and Life Sciences department, the “practice forest”.

The "practice forest" is a forest for research activities, and on a vast site of 22,717 hectares, various plants and animals inhabit it and at first glance it appears to be a completely natural environment. In actuality. it is a forest that has been selected by the University of Tokyo to apply their controlled study called the “Forest Management Law” which means that this forest is managed by humans.

As you can see, Since it’s a controlled environment, the trees can grow perfectly straight and provide as a result, a stellar grain.

It’s so good even the exigent master-builder Yasui gave it its seal of approval! While the conventional cherry blossom model had a very soft quality to its sound, the HD-SAKURA'20 A, S / ATB's timbre is characterized by a clear and low tone like. This model ended up taking a different direction from the usual cherry blossom models we produce.

The coloring is finished with a gradation using the popular color "Yozakura Black", and the coloring is so that the straight and beautiful grain of the wood can shine its uniqueness through.

Also included with this model is a soundhole cover with a cherry blossom motif!
The soundhole not only provides protection from humidity when storing the instrument but also gives the option of significatively lowering the volume of your guitar for those cases where you want to practice but don’t want to bother others around the house.
