An authentic -standard- model made by Momose. The finest 5A Adirondack spruce and Madagascar rosewood are used for the body. Nowadays Madagascar rosewood is quite the rare and expensive wood material, and is difficult to obtain. Madagascar rosewood has an instantly recognizable sound that, elevated by Momose's new X bracing design. By optimizing the scallop by lowering it by 5 mm compared to the usual foreground shift, the high tones are further improved. The high-strength neck reinforced with a carbon bar reduces the effect of stress on the neck due to the tension of the truss rod and strings and transmits the string vibration to the body in a more natural fashion.
With a back made out of Madagascar rosewood from our Master Builder Stock. The guitars made by Momose use materials that have been selected from rare stocks and have an excellent tap tone.
The bracing is based on the forward shift design with a large open area near the bridge, it has been adjusted to bring the cross position of the brace material closer to the bridge by about 5 mm. The amount of scalloping was also adjusted to outline the bass and improve the high tones.
