Momose's -Final- HD-115
The "final version" of the HD-115 that incorporates the advanced technology of Momose’s latest advancements while keeping the original HD-115 design as it is.
A staple name "HD-115" that represents the Headway brand ever since the ’70s.This is the HD-115, produced by Headway custom’s builder Mr. Momose. A signature model that has been a staple for Headway for decades, now coming in its final form for this year’s product presentation. You could say this is the essence of Momose’s 40 plus years of guitar making experience! Equipped with Honduras Mahogany 1P neck and Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood for the body. A combination of high-end materials and components were selected to make this -HD-115-. With details such as the classic Headway headstock logo, small herringbone, and snowflake inlay on the fingerboard. For the machine head, we chose Grover's milk bottle-type tuners, which have a weighted feeling similar to the original machine heads from the back in the day. For the bracing, we went for ARS scalloped bracing that Momose presently advocates for with confidence. Maintaining the spirit of a sturdy and durable guitar that this model always had, with updated techniques that enhance its sound and performance to the maximum.
Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood are combined in a royal, high-end combination for this model.
Momose has personally picked the highest quality material amongst out stock for this model.
The small Herringbone design replicates the original HD-115 design.
The head logo is the same as the original we used to have back in the day, made out of white pearl oysters.
Milk bottle style Grover machine heads are used for this model since its weight is really close to that of the original die-cast machine heads used to produce the original HD-115’s back in the day.
The snowflake inlay on the fingerboard has also been updated to a more elaborate structure based on the same design as the original one.
This is the culmination of Momose's 40-year-old guitar production history in a simple design.
