STR Guitars was started in 2006 by Satoru Yatsuzuka as high-end brand oriented for custom-made electric basses and guitars. STR embodies Satoru’s relentless pursuit for creating instruments that surpasses the player’s imagination, built to the highest level of precision, quality, tone and with the best available material. Satoru is building a new STR 5 string bass using with selected materials including dyed buckeye burl maple top.
