Time really flies doesn't it?
The rainy season has started all over Japan, and the summer has finally begun.
And summer means...
Headway's Summer models!
The -Natsu Sakura- series!
The Summer limited Cherry blossom model, which has been produced every year since 2018, is nearing completion this year as well!
Currently, they are in the middle of the making process, they should be complete by the end of June. It's almost here!!
In 2020, a total of 24 units, including 9 HD shapes, 9 HF shapes, 3 HD deluxe models, and 3 HF shape deluxe models will be produced!!
Standard materials
The body top of the "HD-Yozakura'20 Summer A,S/ATB" and "HF-Yozakura'20 Summer A,S/ATB" is Sitka spruce, and the side & back are wild Cherry tree wood from trees native to the mountains of Japan. These materials give these guitars a soft and elegant tone.
Deluxe materials
On the other hand, for the deluxe -HD-Yozakura'20 Summer DX A,S/ATB- and -HF-Yozakura'20 Summer DX A,S/ATB-, Adirondack spruce is used for the body top material. More detailed inlays have been added and an Avalon bounding has been also added to create a more luxurious and refined look.
The Summer Cherry blossom model whose design is renewed every year. This year, we made it with the motif of "Rain & Cherry blossoms".
The cherry blossoms that gently landing on the surface of the water and creating ripples are perfect for this season.
For the coloring, we went for an update on the previous models, bringing a cool blue gradation coloring that conveys the image of the calm nightly sky. This creates a finish where you can enjoy not only the viewing angle but also the color change of the gradation itself.
While previous models were black with a see-through quality to them that allowed you to see the wood’s grain, this time around we went for a design with the same qualities but that has a gradation that goes from deep blue to a water-like blue.
Expected release date: End of June!
