Introduction
This time around we decided to make our new model out of Japanese materials, and the first thing we need for doing this is the wood supply. When making your regular plywood hollow guitar the artisan uses Maple to make the plywood, but to bring this SeventySeven model to fruition our Aska workshop made veneers out of Japanese cherry tree wood in order to create unique laminated plywood for the production of this one of a kind Japanese-styled model. Inlays inspired on cherry tree blossoms are also included in the fingerboard and pickguard.
