The -HD-115 SF, S / STD- created under the supervision of Headway Master Builder Yasuo Momose, joins the Standard series.
Momose has been involved in guitar production since the Headway Guitars brand started in 1977, this model’s bracing adopts Momose’s latest bracing design.
This bracing layout is a semi-forward shifted X bracing, commonly known as the '34 bracing. With the layout where the crossing position of the X bracing is closer to the bridge side than the forward shift by 4.6 mm, the softness and overtone feeling of the forward shifted bracing is retained while also being stable in terms of strength.
Adopting a traditional long saddle spec, reminiscent of a vintage guitar.
For the HD-115SF, S / STD, the headstock headway logo is made out of white pearl oyster.
The design of the pickguard is changed to a high-class red tortoiseshell, and the pickguard is attached to the guitar by cutting the edge of the pickguard cleanly, it ends up looking like a guitar of the superior ATB series We reproduced the texture that feels like a "painted pickguard".
This guitar of the Headway Standard series is not an acoustic guitar that Momose directly worked on, but is a result of Headway’s process of evolution promoted by Momose, the philosophy of manufacturing, and the techniques used to create it, all of which are reflections of Momose’s legacy.
This is a safe bet for anyone, from those who pick up the Headway for the first time to those who have tried other Headway guitars before.
